Flash Cookies and Privacy Law

Flash cookies are better known as Local Shared Objects, and are one of the newest ways of tracking where people go on the Internet. Unlike regular cookies, flash cookies hold more data and are harder to detect. Flash cookies allow websites to storing a lot more information about you than with normal cookies. Flash cookies are not locatable by checking your browser which means that many people simply do not know they are there at all. Flash cookies are not shown in the list of cookies that you can see when you take a look at the cookies. Flash cookies are used as a marketing tool to mind information about peoples preferences and used to advertise to them in spam for example. Below is a link on how to clear flash cookies from your computer.
